Finding a Place

It was night time, you barely saw anyone outside at this time in Aelford City. This city is known for its vast knowledge in magic, and how secluded it is. It took Hiro a few days to find its exact location. Hiro walked the streets, he had just arrived here. He wanted to find a place to train and learn magic. Then after he found the very best place to do just that, he will find a place to sleep. He was whistling softly as he walked looking around at the buildings there. He had passed a few school and other places that they teach magic, it is just that he did not sense much magic coming from them.

I look around at the dark walls of the alley, my eyes hazy, and my mind reeling. I remember lifting a bottle to my lips, and drinking, but not much else, and it hurt to much to think about. School had not been a big issue for me, I was already better than half the class, coming from the forest-side city of Anerisa, I learned magic from the best of the best, the Elves.

I sensed a powerful magic user ahead of me, and bottle half empty in my hand, and yelled, "Hey, you not shupposed to be here at night! The guards will catch you, yesh they will." I stumbled, and tipped to him, clear liquid going everywhere. I put my hand on his shoulder to catch myself, and said, "Come with me, I have a plash to stay the night." And I began to pull the stranger to my house, against logic, and against reason, but I didn't care, my mind felt detached from my body, and it felt good after the stuff I wanted to forget.

Hiro was looking around when he heard some noises ahead of him. 'A drunk guy' Hiro thought. He did not like people who got drunk much, but he did not really care. Except that this drunk guy came and told him something about not suppose to be here and guards. It was hard to understand what the drunk guy was saying. He had even placed a hand on his shoulder, even if it was for balance he did not like man touching him. What was even weirder was when he said i have a place you can stay at, not in those words off course. Then the drunk guy began to pull him towards , wherever they were going. He was going to say something, but he guessed he needed a place to stay

I went toward my place, and with each step, I got more, and more sober, which brought on the headache. I sighed, and began walking on my own, and saying, "Sorry..." But I guessed that was getting annoying. My mind was on the aura of magic this guy was emitting. It was powerful, but so was mine, only difference was, he had two different kinds of power radiating from him, I recognized one as Elemental Power, but the other seemed to be the exact opposite.

I got to my place completely sober, with a massive headache to prove it, "Damn it..." I muttered under my breath. I went inside, and motioned for the guy to follow me, adding that it beat sitting in the stocks for hours on end. I went to my kitchen in search of another rum bottle, and found myself out. I sighed and asked, "You wouldn't happen to have a couple marks* on you, would you? I need a bottle of rum." Now being underage, I took a huge leap of faith here. I was sixteen. I was just getting sober. And to top it off, I was already grouchy.

Hiro followed the drunk guy. He seemed to be getting better as they neared where he was been taken to. When we got there he seemed much better, he kept repeating something about been sorry so many times Hiro lost count. Hiro followed the drunk guy, since something told him he could most likely learn from him. Even if he was younger he could sense some elemental powers from him.

The Drunky (that is what Hiro decided to call him) was right, he needed a place to stay. Hiro looked at the guy who seemed to be looking for more alcohol. To Hiro the Drunky seem to be underage, and yet he was drunk. It came with a little surprise to Hiro when the Drunky asked him if he had marks, Hiro did not usually carry money with him. He usually got food from the wild and when people saw his magic they usually let him stay for free. Even if he seemed a little evil to some 'good' guys, he did not really supported minors drinking alcohol. In fact he did not like alcohol at all."Sorry Drunky, I got not marks with me" Hiro told him

I sighed, and went to my dresser, looking for spare marks, "Look, I know this looks bad, but, I am just not the kind of guy you want sober, ya know? And my name is Aetios, not drunky." I sighed, and went about cleaning my house up, the headache getting worse. I looked at the dude, and said, "Nice duds." But I said it in elfish, trying to test him.

Hiro knew those kinds of guys that when they got sober they were not themselves, the got grumpy and sometimes could not even do half of what they can when they are drunk. 'This guy can speak elvish huh?' Hiro thought. 'He also has a cool name'.
"Thank you, I rather like my clothes. Did you learn magic from the elves?" Hiro responded in elvish. He had also learn a few things from the elves himself. At first they were reluctant to teach him, but they eventually did. Hiro smirked as he made some marks appear in his hand. They were in his bag which was in another dimension, since it was such a drag for him to summon the bag and get the marks out he just made the marks appear in his hand. He gave the marks to Aetios. "I am Hiro" Hiro said.

I nodded, and said, "Thanks. And yes, I learned from the elves, they raised me when my parents died a few years back," I smiled a bit, and said, "Be back in a minute." And in a flash of light, I was gone, and in the pub to buy myself some rum.

When I got back, I was too smashed to care what happened. I felt bruised, and bloody, but I was drunk, that could have been sweat, and me falling over a lot. I went to my room, and fell asleep on my mattress.

-Next Morning-

I woke up with an acrid taste in my mouth, but I didn't care, I saw some whiskey stashed in the corner, but left it alone. Today felt like a good day to annoy people senseless.
